150g butter
150g dark chocolate
200g sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
95g all-purpose flour
30g cocoa powder
¼ tsp salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
Melt butter and chocolate together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in the microwave, stirring until smooth.
Stir in sugar until combined, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
Mix in vanilla extract.
Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt, and fold gently until just combined.
Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Allow to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
